Home Maintenance


You can access personal support in your home by contacting Home and Community Care through your Local Health Integration Network. Care Coordinators are health professionals who work hand in hand with people and their families to determine what care they need, and work with them to develop an individualized plan for care.

*Caregivers can refer their loved one or friend for in home support.  


Telehealth Ontario can be reached at: 1-866-797-0000.  

*Identify yourself as a caregiver in order to be directed to the correct resource. Free, confidential service you can call to get health advice or information. A Registered Nurse will take your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.


The Healthline provides information about local services. Enter your postal code on the homepage for a listing of local resources. 


Ontario 211 – Community and Social Services Helpline

A provincial service that helps to connect people to information and services in their community. Information is available in English and French.

*Tip - Use the following search words where it asks for the topic or organization, and then enter the city you live in.  The search will give you a list of resources in your community that you can call. If you prefer to speak to someone in person, you can call 2-1-1.
